Our designs break the linear monotony of the original scheme. Through carefully considered detailing and high-quality materials a designed quality to the overall building is given which allows it to sit more comfortably within the urban street scene.

Originally designed as an office block the scheme was changed mid-way through construction into 21 residences. As a result, the facade was more suited to a regimented building grid rather than the subtler requirements of housing and looked misplaced within the urban street scene. Using differing vertical bands at key junctions we defined where the flats start and end, which in turn allow the architecture to be read more clearly.

Our extensive network of suppliers within the industry allowed us to understand how to achieve the required level of detail on a tight budget which allowed the scheme progress through a unique funding model.
